Faith was founded in 2005 in the heart of Rajasthan in the pink city of Jaipur. Their mission is to maximise the development and eventual reintegration of the children. As well as spread awareness and reduce the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS. Smriti Singh, Faith’s co-founder, has made it her life’s work to create a refuge for these children.
The journey started with educational support for children living in railway station slums in Jaipur. The idea was to help children who are living in adverse conditions and create experiences that would help them develop and access their dreams. Confronted with incidences of rejection and stigma for children with HIV it became apparent that direct help was needed so that children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS could live with dignity.
Faith cares for over 50 children and aims for equality for the children living with them by ensuring the provision of education, food, shelter, security, growth, and development through intervention and quality care.
Survival, health, nutrition, development, education, protection and participation are the undeniable rights of every child at Faith.
Whilst you are a Faith VIP, you will be welcomed into the family. You will take care of the children under their care, and support the running of the orphanage. You go where the Faith team goes.
